JORD Wood Watch Giveaway

JORD Wood Watch Giveaway

I have a thing for watches.

There, I said it.

I like jewelry. A lot. If you’ve been around here for a while, you know that. But I really have a thing for watches. And when I find something I really like, I can’t help myself but to share about it. I guess it’s that evangelistic gifting in me. When I find something I really love, why wouldn’t I share?! And let me tell you, I will never share something here that I do not LOVE!

I’m obsessed with JORD watches. A few years ago, they sent me one, and I’m not lying when I say I’ve worn it everyday. I have the Frankie, Zebrawood and Champagne. So when they reached out and wanted to give, you, my friends, a watch, I was on that like white on rice.

The Word on Display

We put the crib up in faith.

I bought another Solly wrap. And wall art. My mom found the most beautiful dresser. And I started dreaming over this room, just like I had for my other two.

After all these years of negative pregnancy tests, we still believe we’ll see the manifestation of healing in my body. That one day, I’ll finally see a positive test and watch as my belly grows with miracles. We believe this because we know God is good. We know His Father’s heart is healing and wholeness for His children.

Two summers ago, instead of decorating a nursery in this room, I was filling it with transformers and legos. I studied the early and latter rains that summer. And knew that our foster son was the early rains for our family. God isn’t finished writing our story. The latter rains are coming.

Simple, Purposeful Living With Routines (Part 4)

Simple, Purposeful Living With Routines (Part 4)

Hasn’t this series been fun? I sure think so!

I’ve loved sitting down with you each week diving into these topics on how we can live simply on purpose! If you know me, you know I love a good schedule. And routines just fit so nicely with them. So I’m SUPER pumped about talking about how we live simple on purpose with routines.

I was the BabyWise mom. The one who did the whole sleep training thing. I’m not a crazy person about schedules. I don’t lose it if we’re off our schedule and I’m definitely going to let my kids have fun and every once in a while we’ll kick the bed time to the curb. But man oh man, do routines help my family run well.

Simple, Purposeful Living in Our Home (Part 3)

Simple, Purposeful Living in Our Home (Part 3)

Our house isn’t fancy. Honestly, it’s nothing to blog about. I laughed out loud when three lifestyle and home bloggers wanted me to join them in this series. I love our house. I think it’s pretty. But it’s definitely not going to be one you would find in a magazine.

But our home. It’s different. We’ve spent the last several years learning about home. Making our house a home, learning what it means to be home, and the people we would find there. I think it’s true for most Mamas, but the older I grow, the more home means to me.

Simple, Puposeful Living With Kids (Part 2)

I’m so excited to continue our series on living simple with purpose. I’ve being living on purpose for quite some time now, but sharing this series with you has helped me think through why I do the things I do. I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week, and Christmas will be right around the corner. If we’re not careful, I think it would be easy to let life just slip by. As we’re walking through this series, I hope it encourages you to think for yourself and your family the “why” behind the things you do.

When my kids are all grown up, and they’re raising children of their own, I want their favorite memories to be the ones we made consistently with intentionality. And that can’t happen if we’re not being intentional now.
